Job Title: HR and Talent Acquisition Manager – India
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Remote initially under our employer of record (EOR), then moving to office in Hyderabad 3 days per week.
Enigen is a multi-award-winning Oracle platinum partner, delivering CX and Supply Chain Management (SCM) technology implementations across a wide range of sectors. With over 15 years’ experience in the UK and Europe, Enigen has decided to launch in India to gain access to a wider talent pool, reduce operating costs, and improve our commercial competitiveness.
Today, Enigen employs a few people in India through an employer of record (EOR). However, this is now moving to a branch of the company in India with Enigen setting up its own entity in Hyderabad.
As part of this move, we are looking for an HR and Talent Acquisition Manager in Hyderabad, who will play a key role in this company development. You will be working within a small HR team, reporting to the Director – People and Culture in the UK.

Key responsibilities include:
• Acting as a point of contact on any day-to-day operational HR issues, providing advice and support to team members and managers – primarily in India, but also providing UK support if required.
• Keeping up to date with local Government guidelines, legislative changes, and employment law, reviewing and updating our policies and processes in line with legal requirements.
• Championing colleague wellbeing and mental health, sharing content, raising awareness, and organising activities (for example on time to talk day or mental health awareness week), working alongside our Mental Health and Wellbeing Champions.
• Responsibility for recruitment activities including direct sourcing and resourcing, agency management, advertising, screening, organising interviews, conducting interviews, sharing feedback, verbally providing offers to candidates, contractor agreements etc.
• Managing our relationship with our Employer of Record partner for hiring outside in India and supporting the business in transitioning this to our own entity.
• Become a trusted support to the group leadership team, in supporting logistics such as office management in Hyderabad.
• Inducting and onboarding new joiners.
• Managing any employee relations matters in India.
• Performance management, including amendments to the appraisal process.
• Managing the leaver and offboarding process.
• Company HR communications.
• Organising events such as company days, virtual tea breaks etc.
• Organising development / training activities if required.
• Sickness absence management.
• Attend management calls/ meetings.
• Health and safety desk assessment (if required).
This list of main activities is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as reasonably required.
Your qualifications/ experience/ attributes should include:
• Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification.
• Experience in all areas of employee relations.
• Excellent, up to date working knowledge of employment law in India.
• Management and co-ordination of recruitment activities.
• Strong and demonstratable experience in stakeholder management and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
